Life can throw all kinds of obstacles at you. The first line in this song is what you can cop sometimes when wanting to help someone who just ain't coping with life. And it's a fair call to at times, as we all like to clean up other peoples backyards before our own. People need time to walk the road that unravels before them and sometimes we can only sit back and be a support when it's needed.
lyrics
Vs 1. I guess it's fair enough to say shut your mouth you haven't walked my road that life you want you've got to own whatever it may be that drives you to the next breakdown it's plain for all to see it is what it is. CHORUS And you don't want to walk that road your still picking up those pieces from the last mother load your life is a bomb you preach to me about some code the average man can never reach it you only reap what you sow your life's like a broken bridge Vs 2. Take your time work it through you've got your goals but can you reach them that life you want you've got to own what they say i guess it's true to be free those walls must fall down the only way for you to know is walk in those shoes CHORUS BRIDGE Well it seems hardly fair when your under repair does anyone really care? there must be someone to share those broken dreams and nightmares but they can't cross over there over to there. Vs 3. The hours late the times at hand it's time to pick up those pieces just put your hand to that plow you want change the time is now divided you will fall but together you can stand just pick yourself up off the floor my lovely broken bridge
